When you purchase made to order or stock items from Chantal Mallett T/A fairy Fantasia, you are agreeing to purchase the items without the right to return them for a refund should you change your mind or because the courier delivers your items outside of the anticipated shipping time. These are not valid reasons to request a refund. Items purchased in the store may only be returned if they are faulty or damaged in transit. Please email Chantal at hello@fairyfantasia.boutique, if your experience any issues with you purchase & await my response before sending your parcel back. *The time limit to advise me of faults or damage is within 10 days of delivery.

Cooling off periods/Cancellations:

Made to Order

Items, ordered through the main listings on the site, must be cancelled within the first 24 hours of ordering. During busy periods, production is 7 days a week & orders can be started soon after being placed. If you notify me you wish to cancel within 24 hours of ordering, your order will be cancelled & refunded.


If you have commissioned a bespoke design & placed the order through a special order listing, created for you, on the website, it is not possible to cancel once the order has been placed.

Stock items

With regards to stock items, *it is not possible to cancel an order once shipped. If you wish to cancel your order of a stock item, it is essential that you please email or telephone as soon as possible to enquire whether the item has already been shipped & to advise me you wish to cancel. *If the item is still processing & you contact me within 24 hours of placing the order, I will cancel & refund.


Processing time

Stock items are processed in 2-3 working days & shipped by the method you chose at checkout.

The processing times for made to order items is 2-3 weeks & shipped by the method you chose at checkout. 

I am a sole trader & make all items myself. If I envisage any delays with the processing time, I will email or telephone the customer to advise them.

Shipping time and delivery estimates

I ship parcels to various countries around the world, deliveries are Monday to Friday, though some couriers may attempt weekend delivery.

For UK shipping I use Royal Mail Special Delivery which delivers by 1pm next day.

For International shipping I use couriers, the delivery times depend on the country & whether you choose standard or express. *Not all countries have an express option.

Shipping estimates are shown when you submit your shipping address in the shopping cart & choose your shipping method, prior to purchase.

International Shipping Policy

A full list of countries I ship to can be accessed in your shopping cart. If your country is not listed, there may be a reason why I do not ship there or it may be a country I have not set up with shipping costs. Please email: hello@fairyfantasia.boutique to enquiry if I can ship to your address & to get a shipping quote.

*Please note: I am not currently shipping to Germany due to the requirement to register before I can ship.

Shipping rates

All shipping rates can be accessed in your shopping cart by inputting your address before you submit payment.

*Please note:

  • Shipping time is additional to processing time.
  • I am unable to guarantee when a parcel will arrive; I am a small business & have no control over shipments once I pass them to the courier companies, though I am happy to help customers trace parcels that are late or missing.
  • Rates quoted in your cart are subject to change without notice & may not be the same, at a later date, if you choose not to purchase at that time. Shipping rates are based on the best rates I can get as a small business & include insurance.

Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses

I do not ship to P.O boxes, APO/FPO addresses.

Shipment confirmation and order tracking

Customers are notified by email when parcels are shipped & sent tracking details. I use various couriers inc. Royal Mail (UK), DHL, FedEx & UPS.


Parcels are shipped insured to the value of the goods.

Customs, duties, and taxes

Chantal Mallett T/A Fairy Fantasia, as the shipper, is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

*If you are not sure what your may be charged to import your parcel, I strongly suggest customers check in advance what taxes, etc. your country may levy & any handling fees charged by couriers to clear customs on your behalf when you import goods from the UK.


Chantal Mallett T/A Fairy Fantasia is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact myself directly. Please save all packaging material and damaged goods & photograph it. Parcels are insured & I will need copies of photographs to submit a claim.

Both the hand made to order & stocked limited edition sets can not be returned & refunded if you change your mind or a carrier delivers them later than expected, as once a parcel leaves me, I have no control over courier delays. You will provided with tracking number & the name of the carrier when your parcel is shipped.

*Please notify me as soon as possible if a carrier fails to deliver your parcel.

Damaged / faulty items

These can of course be returned &/or refunded on a case by case basis, please contact me with images of the damage caused by the carrier (inc. images of damaged packaging) or faults by sending an email & images to hello@fairyfantasia.boutique within 10 days of delivery & I will will be in touch to resolve the issue.

Faulty items

Please consider the delicate nature of your wings when handling to avoid damage.

*Wings are thoroughly checked before being sent. You may see small marks on the acetate or small faults on the vinyl, like small air bubbles – these do not detract from the wings glorious look & are all part of the handmade nature of fairy wings & are not considered as imperfections/faults. Please examine your wings when they arrive & if your wings arrive faulty please advise me immediately & email relevant images to hello@fairyfantasia.boutique.

For damage / faults items only: once your return is received and inspected or I have seen photographs, depending on which method I chose, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item/photographs & will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email address}.

Limited Edition & one of a kind items

The same policy applies to these stocked items. Refunds are only given for faulty or damaged items.


I do not offer exchanges.
